How to watch Marvel movies in order – in chronological order

To complicate things a bit, MCU movies don’t always follow one another. As the fifth film to be released, Captain America: The First Avenger is actually the first entry in the Marvel Timeline to set in the midst of World War I.

Although Brie Larson’s first release, Captain Marvel, was released after Infinity War, it is the second adventure in the Marvel timeline, with much of the film taking place in 1995.
